2021, I'm back!

It has been about 4-5 years since I blogged. Social media became easier. FB took over and now we are faced with a revolution of sorts and maybe its time to pull back and regroup. I figured that if I wanted to share my posts, I could do that and I can post pictures or links to pictures here. I'm not exactly sure if this will work but why not.

A lot has happened in the Cichos household in the last 4-5 years. I imagine if I send this link to you, you already know that. Where to rebegin is quite the challenge. My melancholic brain says I just can't start up with no organized explanation so here goes in a nut shell and I think we will all feel better, right? Well you do know I'm pretty much talking to myself. haha

So Jackie got married to Shaun, he's great, they live in town here, Kate moved out and got married to Jace, Now she's pregnant with number 3 grandbaby. That gives us Oliver, Noah and soon Alena. Carolyn will have her Masters in June and has a great boyfriend Mark, I think he's a keeper. Joseph moved to Michigan and married Charlee and is considering a move out of Michigan. Evelyn graduated and is dating Austin and is in her first year of college. Madelyn (a huge reader) and Michael (loves sports especially football) in highschool and Rosayn is in junior high and has made new friends this year. Anthony in 5th grade and still a cutie with a touch of mischief, and Gwena in 1st grade is my sweetie girl but also quite the stinker.

Me and Steve great. 26 years married now. We love our new role and La La and Pop (grandparents) and we love our kids. So that's what we do, and we don't really care about a whole lot more than family. Everything else is a means to family. We own our Cichos Masonry, keeps us busy and provides for the family. Our faith always first, which gave us our family so Boom! There ya go, my first post since 2016. I'll just say if you are reading this, welcome or welcome back.

Tony's Milestones

Newborn-baptism with Doug and Beth Hipps as godparents 2 weeks-first bath 1 month-loves to sleep with Mommy 2 months--smiles big and happily finally nursing well 5month says Mama and Dada the following week 5 months-6months he sits, a little with help and finally without, but we still have to be careful--he pulls himself back 6 months, sleeps 9-5am about once/twice a week, but wakes up just to nurse the rest of the time and goes back to sleep. 6months sleeps in his own bed majority of the time. 6months finally likes tummy time and inch worms 6mo does a crazy shake rattle and roll when he's excited...all hyper like, so cute! 7mo waves, reaches to be picked up, says "Hi" and is eating table food-he prefers to feed himself. 8mo. Saying Dada and getting on his knees rocking back and forth. Loves to eat. Says MMMM--ama! and signs when he wants to eat with his hand to his mouth. 9mo. Tony crawls, waves and claps. 10mo. Tony pulls himself to stand, gets his first tooth. Very happy to be able to go, go, go. Sleeps in the boys room now. At 11mo tony is like a rhino...charge! This week its been Mommy, Mommy, Mommy...have to admit...I love hearing him say it.

Milestones

Rosa 4 months says Mama
5 months says Dada
6 months sits unaided, laughs, plays with toys and watches Play with me Sesame.
Jackie bathes her, Carolyn sings to her, Katelyn rocks her and the little kids love to play with her. She's a Mama's girl right now and may be teething.
7 months Rosa reaches for her own toys and plays so nicely on her own
8 months Rosa is beginning to crawl and has her first tooth!
9 months has her second tooth. She crawls everywhere, talks...today she said "I did it", she chases the vacuum cleaner, cruises along furniture and even lifts her leg over a ride on toy and got on.
