Happy Birthday Mary!

Cuteness took a detour!

Well she still is cute, with a side of sassy!  Gwena took to telling everyone what to do, and then when  you do not comply she folds her arms and says,
"that's not fair!"

Well toddler training commence....NOW!  haha.  Her vocabulary has jumped with leaps and bounds, talks in full sentences all the times, still copies your last few words, but most things she talks in on her own.  She's a beauty and quite fun.  We have started coloring, when she is bugging me when I'm doing chores, she likes her "Paper" h aha.

She sure loves her big sisters and brothers though.  And when they come home, she is estatic! Below exercising with Carolyn.

Home.... Work....well my home.... work. haha

So my mom sent me some stools along on one of my brother's visit, so I took to reuphostery. haha.  My daddy would be so proud, oh. the memories that my childhood provides watching my parents in their furniture factory. Well not too shabby. haha.

Pulled the old material off, bought some 5 dollar a yard remnants. And pulled tight and stapled!

Old stool...
New Stool
I also took a stop in at Home Depot to check out a tile Steve told me about, so in the future list, we will eventually be retiling the kitchen and I'm shocked at the match!  The tile looks just like my wood floors, I can't wait. haha.  First things first though, we will soon begin work on my wood countertop for my new cabinets.

small strip is my wood floor laying on top of tile!!

Mgmt.  Woo Hoo, here we go.  She changed campus' to a very nice campus approximately the same distance but in a different direction.  Its in a newer area, and much nicer building.  Her classes this quarter are English, Geography and a Business Mgmt class.

And Shaun, Jackie's boyfriend also started back to day in his second year in a transfer program that will end up at UNO in Computer Programing.

Ooop, Forgot First Day at Mater Dei 8-17--2015

First day of school was August 17th and I think I forgot to talk about the first day.  It went perfectly, seriously I cannot believe how well it went.  Tony was absolutely fine, not a tear or anything.  I took him to the vestibue area and Sister took him easy as pie to sit with his class for the Rosary.  He didn't even look for me (I watched!!!!) and after the Rosary I walked him to his class and left, it was like way too easy.  I was so lonely for him the whole day though.

He said a few things though that made my heart leap.  When I told him I was going to go home for the day but would come back at 2:30 for him, he said, "...but what if I miss you" ah, I told him, "ah, no biggie, I'll be waiting for you"

And then when I picked him up he said, "I sure luv you Mommy, it was a long day but I had fun, but I knew you'd come get me" My sweetie boy!

Rosie started 2nd grade, Michael 4th, Madelyn 6th, Evelyn 8th, and Joe the 11th.

Happy Birthday Mikey

In the infant loss world, we refer to a child born after a loss as our "rainbow" And Mikey was my rainbow after Marilyn.  My sweet little boy that brought my heart happiness.  He is so fun as a 9 year old boy.  He is so smart, he resembles my dad so much born a few months after my dad died.  He loves science, animals, marine life.  He can talk for hours about something he is excited about.  He is not as active as Joe and he's not as calm as Tony, he's right in the middle!
