She was so darling today!

Oh, Maddie was so funny today. She decided tomorrow should be her first day of school since she is now five....haha! We've been doing preschool at home for some time, but she meant Evelyn's class!
I got her a slurpee from 7-11 and she declared I'm now the best mother in the whole world! Woo Hoo!
Then we ate dinner, her favorite, and I told everyone to get in the car, no questions. We went to McDonalds for some play and apple pies. She looked at me, with that Maddie look and said as she was giggling...."Oooh, are we doing something for my birthday?" haha!
I even went in the slide....hey don't you say that, I'm not too old, I made it up the slide just fine! haha! Stevie even took a pictures of my behind as I was crawling in! Good thing I was wearing pants and not a dress! haha!

Maddie, Maddie, Maddie, Moo Cow!

Guess who is five today, but my sweet, crazy, very active, and mischievous Maddie Moo Cow! Hehe. She is very excited, is wearing a new Valentine's outfit and has been doing all the big girl chores all week because she is now 5! However today Madelyn thought she was going to school, and we had to explain she has to wait til after summer. But we are still going to do school at home until then.

So five years ago, I would already be holding my little princess whom I thought at the time resembled Charlie Brown! She was born after midnight and even though I had wanted her birthday to actually be yesterday, but I was thrilled she was finally here. She was my first overdue baby and was my largest at 8lbs12oz. She was so beautiful and my parents came up to visit me after hours. We left the hospital and went straight to get her pictures taken. This was the last baby my parents have been around for. One of the most exciting parts of her birth was her godmother coming from Colorado to be here for the baptism! (Thank you Spark!)

Todays plan is, going to pick out their glasses, her favorite dinner, and then to McDonalds for an icecream cone so the littles can play in the slide. Presents and a cake. Lots of pictures later!

Great News!

So yesterday the long awaited pediatric eye appointment arrived. This was a rescheduling nightmare and took 5 months to get in!

We have noticed that Katelyn's eyes are getting worse. She can't see well at all. Can't read the books the other girls read. Her school work is suffering and we are really worried about her.

Madelyn's eye has been wandering inward much worse lately and our fears are her eyesight is getting worse.

So after many eye tests yesterday and a very very patient doctor dealing with a preschooler) the news comes back!

Her exact words are, "We have a problem...." then she complains that the girls (BOTH OF THEM) GLASSES ARE TOO STRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!! What? How is this possible. It seems with the stabismus, as they grow, as their eye shape changes their sight improves! Well why didn't anyone ever tell me this? haha! Anyway, in Katelyn's case its been a long time, but she started off with very very poor vision. Years ago, we were told that with glasses she would never see better than 20/60. That she just never would see well....WELL WITH HER NEW GLASSES SHE WILL SEE AT 20/20 IN ONE EYE AND 20/30 IN THE OTHER! And she said as she gets older this will keep changing and she should beable to continue going into lower power glasses! I am so excited for Katelyn!
For Madelyn her eyesight is good, and her lenses are very low power, only used to keep the eye straight. The doctor said by the time she is a preteen, she very well may not be in glasses and as she keeps growing the wandering eye will get less and less. She even knew that Madelyn must have recently grown a lot. I did tell her she was right, Madelyn has hit a huge growth spurt and is now the same size as her almost 7 year old sister. (She's five today!) I'm very excited about this, and thrilled that we finally got into the doctor I've wanted to for 1/2 a year. She was Katelyn's former doctor but the last year due to insurance changes we had to go elsewhere, but we got the insurance squared away, and wa........la!

spring coming????

Winter is almost over ; we can see the deer wandering around now.
Madeyn was playing around during free time, not during our school time and she was loving the playing with the markers. haha! Of course during school time, she would be a lot neater but thought it was cute she was doing it during playtime.

Children Update

Well, things are going well as the 2nd quarter came to a close. We did find that the kids need to improve their study habits. Until now studying really hasn't been all that important, just getting their work done, but we did see a drop in everyone's grades this quarter and even though most the grades are good and fine with a few exceptions they could be better with a little studying. Some of the kids just learn by doing, but some of the kids actually have to study, so the next quarter is going to be devoted to learning study habbits here at home.

I'll start with the youngest school-bie. Madelyn is finally doing great with her preschool here at home. In a very short time she has learned to recognize the entire alphabet, now can write the entire alphabet with just a little coaxing and sometimes just a little reassurance. She can write her name and we are working on the formation of numbers as well as letters. We are working on hand coordination and once we got going...consistently her behavior changed radically. She's a lot further than I expected so guess we'll spend the next months perfecting formation and start some phonics when ready. (yeah, for my big girl!)
*Evelyn is doing excellent. She doesn't have the typical grade report card so to sum it up, on her work habits she got 6 +'s (puts forth extra effort) three of which were improved from last quarter. And she got 3 checkmarks (does what is expected of her). In here Character development which is basically behavior she got again got 6 +'s (extra effort) and 2 checkmarks (what is expected) In Language Arts she got 2, Fives performs independently (highest number available) and 2 Fours performs with minimal assistance and 1 four in a half...guess that's between the two. In Spelling she got 2 five's and a 4 in a half. Reading all between Four in a halfs-Fives. And in Math again all the Fours and Fives. Science she got Fours and in Penmenship she got Fives.
Teacher's remark was: Evleyn continues to do very well. She works hard and puts forth her best effort. She is also a wonderful helper.

Joseph broke his straight A with a B+ in Spelling (guess someone needs to study spelling words..hehe) and all his behavior are Excellent. He received 2nd Honors Honor Role.
I would like to see Joseph bring home his spelling during the week.

Jaclyn got a B in Penmanship with A's in all other subjects. Her behaviors were scored at Excellent. Her average is 3.7 giving her 2nd Honors (Only 1 point from 1st honors!) I would like to see Jaclyn being more cautious with her writing and less messy.

Carolyn got straight A's and all Excellent behaviors. She also got a 3.7 giving her 2nd honors (1 pt. away from 1st honors) I would like to see Carolyn put a little more effort into Math.

Katelyn struggled this quarter however improved as well. She brought up Spelling and Reading to B levels. Stayed about the same in Religion, English, Penmanship at the C level and brought down both the Math and Science grade to the D level. Her behaviors are all excellent with the exception of effort to achieve which is a Good. I would like to see Katelyn be more consistent with her studies, work on the subjects she doesn't like as much as the ones she does like. And slow down.

So we have some work for all the kids this quarter. Wish me luck! hehe!

As for the babes...
Mikey is a hoot. The kid cracks me up. He called Evelyn "Buckwheat" today. I couldn't believe it! He still loves to look through books and he likes to do flashcards with me and Madelyn. The flashcards have animals as well as letters so she tells me the letter and he tells me the animal. haha.

Rosa has found her fingers, sucking her pointer and thumb at the same time. Can't get her to take the pacifier for nothing. Oh, well. She likes to use her fingers to grab and is coo-ing away. She is so happy and has eyes that bright up with her smile.

Well baby calls...chat again later

Beautiful Poem

Ballad to
Our Lady of Tears
A Prayer for the 40 Million Victims of Abortion
by Therese Ickinger

O Mary, Mother of all men
Remember how one day
You rocked a little Boy to sleep
In a cradle filled with hay.

Remember how you held Him,
The long and weary night,
You fled from Herod’s soldiers
In Egypt’s dismal flight.

How the lonely stars looked down.
How the night was long;
With hoof beats in the distance
But in your heart a song.

You trod the darkness round you
You warmed the sands so cold
You lulled the winds to whispers
And turned the tears to gold.

When God was very little
And Life was very new,
With death a lurking shadow
He chose to cling to you.

He chose not Heaven’s legions,
Nor Michael’s sword of flame,
To shield Him in the darkness;
He chose your tender name.

Your tender arms to hold Him,
Your tender eyes so deep,
Your tender voice to comfort
And sing His soul to sleep.

Look down again in pity
O Mother of Our Lord
Upon a world where children still
Must flee from Herod’s sword.

Where Moloch claims his victims still
And still the price is paid
Where lust is crowned and love is drowned
And death a grim charade.

Where little ones are torn apart
Or burned with hateful brine
Where murder in a velvet coat
Is a social valentine.

These little hands, these little feet,
These little eyes and ears,
O Mother, see their misery
Baptize them in your tears.

They have never known the sunshine
Nor felt the cool of rain
Their heritage is horror
Their first caress is pain.

They were the breath of springtime.
The promise April gave,
Til winter’s vultures ravished-
Their cradle is their grave.

And now before the Father
Some ask: whose can these be?
Please wrap your arms around them,
Say: these belong to me.

For love of Him who was little too,
Who traded Heaven to be with you,
Take these children torn apart
To the playground of your heart.

Bruised and swollen, crucified
On the cross of human pride;
May their bodies perfect rise,
Take their souls to paradise.

Let them not for want of grace
Linger in a darkened place.
Ask your Son to give them joy,
He was once a little Boy.

Now and at the hour of death,
May they feel your gentle breath;
Tuck them in a bed of white,
O Mother, sing to them tonight!

Heavenly Father, You create men in Your own image, and You desire that not even the least among us should perish. In your love for us, You entrusted Your only Son to the holy Virgin Mary. Now, in Your love, protect against the wickedness of the evil, those little ones to whom You have given the gift of life.

Happy Birthday my sweetheart

Today was Steve's birthday. Made him his favorite blueberry desert that again is his mom's recipe. See a connection...he loves all his mom's cooking! hehe.

Anyway we had a nice day. Laughed again as we do every year with the Christmas tree still up, kids call it Dad's birthday tree.

The older girls got him a field and stream magazine, thought that was sweet.
I'm so surprised how fast time has flown by. Our children, our life and all the wonderful blessings. I wouldn't change a thing. I love our life and I love my wonderful husband. Happy Birthday Stevie.

How many times...

do I have to say:

where is my stapler?
my tape?
my pens?

don't forget to hang up your coat?
put away your backpack?
where are your shoes?

make your bed?
did you do your job?

did you brush your teeth?

Just wondering if I'm the only one????

only in America

Only in America .....do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.

Only in America.....do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.

Only in America.....do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.

Only in America.....do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.

Only in America......do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.

Only in America.....do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.

EVER WONDER ..

Why the sun lightens our hair, but darkens
Our skin?

Why women can't put on mascara with their mouth closed?

Why don't you ever see the headline 'Psychic Wins Lottery'?

Why is 'abbreviated' such a long word?

Why is it that doctors call what they do 'practice'?

Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavor, and dish washing liquid made with real lemons?

Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?

Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour?

Why isn't there mouse-flavored cat food?

Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes?

Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?

You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?!

Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?

If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport the terminal?

Now that you've smiled at least once, it's your turn to spread the stupidity and send this to someone you want to bring a smile to (maybe even a chuckle)...in other words, send it to everyone. We all need to smile every once in a while

Rosa, making a place. hehe

I noticed this as I was playing around with my pictures. The two times we did group shots during my pregnancy it looks like their is a gap between people...like her place was being saved or something...haha! Check out the pic's below. Had to add one of Rosa. haha!

Snowed in...AGAIN!

sNOW, SNOW...GO AWAY!

Ok, so snowed in yet again. Thank God he has blessed me with such great Sister's and teacher at our school. They instructed the kids over the phone what to get done today, and then faxed us work for them to do! Thankfully, when we take steps for them to get their work done, it counts as a "homeschool day"

Anyway, so kids got their work done. We got the fax machine working, with the help of the Sister's telling me what buttons to press! haha! I do enjoy see Evelyn doing her school work and her listening to her read.

Worked with Madelyn and realized she retained much more than I thought from the months I was pregnant. We did preschool a little different this year and it worked out pretty good. We did recognition for the first 1/2 of the year since I was pregnant and having a hard time sitting for long periods. So we played a lot of flashcard games and learned how to recognize the letters/numbers/shapes/colors. And then we learned the sounds. We just started actually making the letters and formation. She likes to switch gears a lot and doesn't like to complete her papers which is something we are working on, but she seems to have more coordination than if we started writing off the bat. So that's good. Not sure if I'll do it differently next time around, but want to see how well she progress' with this method. I'll have to think about it. Since the next time around will be Mikey...I may just repeat this way, since he's going to be an early one...having his birthday last week of August he may need that extra time before he starts writing. Anyway...just a thought. If I were to change anything I guess I would still do the recognition stuff first but also have her do fun papers or papers where she is circling or cutting/coloring etc during this time to try to fight this "lazy tendency" not to have to finish her papers. Always a work in progress.

Girls were busy studying and doing their work today and then working on reports when they got done. And Joe...man, you can't keep that boy busy for nothing! He's always done in like 30 minutes flat. Trying to keep him busy is no easy task. And I can't really complain because he makes straight A's so he's not rushing through and not doing well. If only everyone was as easy as Joe when it came to school work. I was remembering teaching him preschool...he was like this super sponge...I couldn't give him enough work...he was always one step ahead of me. He's still like that and he used to hate for me to write on his paper! haha!

Pennies from Heaven--cute story

You always hear the usual stories of pennies on the sidewalk being good luck, gifts from angels, etc. this is the first time I've ever heard this twist on the story. Gives you something to think about...

Several years ago, a friend of mine and her husband were invited to spend the weekend at the husband's employer's home. My friend, Arlene, was nervous about the week-end. The boss was very wealthy, with a fine home on the waterway, and the cars costing more than her house.
The first day and evening went well, and Arlene was delighted to have this rare glimpse into how the very wealthy live. The husband's employer was quite generous as a host, and took them to the finest restaurants. Arlene knew she would never have the opportunity to indulge in this kind of extravagance again, so she was enjoying herself immensely.
s the three of them were about to enter and exclusive restaurant that evening, the boss was walking slightly ahead of Arlene and her husband. He stopped suddenly, looking down on the pavement for a long, silent moment.
Arlene wondered if she was supposed to pass him. There was nothing on the ground except a single darkened penny that someone had dropped. Still silent, the man reached down and picked up the penny. He held it up and smiled, then put in in his pocket as if he had found a great treasure. How absurd! What need did this man have for a single penny? Why would he even take the time to stop and pick it up?
Throughout dinner, the entire scene nagged at her. Finally, she could stand it no longer. She casually mentioned that her daughter once had a coin collection and asked if the penny he had found had been of some value. A smile crept across the man's face as he reached into his pocket for the penny and held it out for her to see. She had seen many penny's before! What was the point? Look at it, he said. Read what it says. She read the word United States of America. No not that read further.
One cent? No keep reading he said.
In God We Trust??? Yes! And.....? (she replied?)
He explained, And if I trust God, the name of God is holy, even on a coin. Whenever I find a coin I see that inscription. It is written on every single United States coin, but we never seem to notice it! God drops a message right in front of me telling me to trust Him. Who am I to pass it by? When I see a coin, I pray, I stop to see if my trust IS in God at that moment. I pick the coin up as my response to God; that I do trust Him. For a short time, atleast, I cherish it as if it were gold. I think it is God's way of starting a conversation with me. Lucky for me, God is patient and pennies are plentiful!
When I was out shopping today, I found a penny on the sidewalk. I stopped and picked it up, and realized that I had been worrying and fretting in my mind about things I cannot change. I read the words, ' In God We trust" and had to laugh. Yes, God, I get the message.
It seems that I have been finding an inordinate number of pennies in the last few months, but then, pennies are plentiful! And God is patient!

This is the Star written by Joyce Dunbar/Gray Blythe

Every year it happens where I find things I wanted to do during a specific holiday or season but find it once the holiday passes by. This is one of those things. This is taken from a cute child's book and its the last page of the book.

This is the Christ child born to be king

While hosts of heavenly angels sing.

These are the wise men come from afar

Who also saw and followed the star,

Bearing the gold and fragant myrrh

And frankincense, the gifts that were

Placed by the manger warm with hay

Wherein a newborn baby lay.

This is the ox and this the ass

Who saw these wonders come to pass

At the darkened inn where the only room

Was a stable out in the lamplit gloom

For the donkey and his precious load

Who trudged the long and weary road,

Looked on by the angel shining bright

Who came to the shepherds watching by night

That saw the star in the sky.

Madelyn wrote her name all by herself! Rosa at bath time...see her bubbles?

Kids say and do

Well between Anne and I we have 14 kids...and kids do the greatest things are so funny so I thought it would be fun to have a regular synopsis of kid things.

Well as you all know I've been teaching preschool to my stubborn Madelyn. She wrote he name all by herself today. But anyway we've been working since September and the child can recognize all her shapes but one. She drives me nuts...she knows all of them including pentagon, hexagon, cylinder, pyramid and then the usual circle, square, triangle but for the love of me I can't get her to remember RECTANGLE!

Mikey has been so cute, he talks so well and is very serious about how much he likes Thomas the train.haha!

Rosa is getting so big she's at a 6-9 month size now. So sad, I would love to keep my newborn. She is sleeping through the night so surprisingly to me. She giggles and always thinks I'm going to tickle her. Getting her dressed is a challenge because she hunches her shoulders giggling.

Joey still doensn't have homework ever. He gets everything done plus homework and still has time to spare at school.

Evelyn wants me to find a book about St. John Bosco and we hung up her little picture of the Blessed Mother she received as a gift on the Epiphany.

The girls were excited their soccer team did better today. They play boy's vs girls at school. They are learning positions so they get so excited. They made noodles in home ec today.

reply with Anne

So was that speech recent? today?

You know here in Michigan the tax on gas was one of the highest in the country...lets cut that down. haha!

I honestly don't think they are going to take many steps to really help the average American. Sadly the average guys like us, just don't make enough. Thats one reason I want every single one of my children to have a four year degree. I think a four year is important.

Obama's Speech

Anne here

"At this particular moment, only government can provide the short-term boost necessary to lift us from a recession this deep and severe," he said.

Nice...He's kinda right. He could impose higher taxes for companies that choose to outsource their companies to other countries, helping them to make the leap that keeping the work in the U.S. is a good thing. He could slow the importation from China. He could lower the tax on new/used vehicles, along with the registration fees which would make it more affordable to buy. He could get the government off the backs of the small farmers, starting with Ohio.

I wonder how soon this part of the story will disappear off the news. Anything like this usually gets yanked pretty darn fast.

Freedom to choose schools????

Sad story, without names...a very good friend of mine husband left her about 5 years ago. She was given full custody and it written in court document that she has full say of their education.

Every couple years the husband takes her back to court.

This time its been ruled that she needs to pull them out of thier Catholic School because its a small school, multi classroom and "negligent to her children" because its not public school. She is appealing. Well then I came home and saw this link...makes me feel very blessed.

Our Lady of La Salette

This was passed along to me and thought it a great read:

Apparition of the Blessed Vigin on the Mountain of La Salette the 19th of September, 1846 – Only the witness herelf, Melanie, can, along with Maximin, give an account of the apparition. After giving it by word of mouth an incalculable number of times, she decided to write it all down in 1878. It was published at Lecce on the 15th of November, 1879, with the “IMPRIMATUR” (approval of the Church) of Bishop Zola – and reprinted “ne varietur” at Lyon in 1904, a few months before Melanies’s death. “WELL MY CHILDREN, YOU WILL PASS THIS ON TO ALL MY PEOPLE.” Published by the Shepherdess of La Salette with Imprimatur by Mgr. Bishop of Lecce.

This is the original text of the Message and Secret of La Salette, approved by the Catholic Church, is published in their entirety here for the first time in the English Language. We sincerely thank Mr. Joseph Corteville, President of the Association of the Children of Notre Dame of La Salette and of Saint Louis Marie Grignion of Montfort, and Director of L”Impartial, a Marian revue to have graciously supplied us with this manuscript and for authorizing us to publish same. Simple reproduction without commentary or controversy of the OIRIGINAL Edition of Lecce in 1879. (only Our Lady’s excerpts will be printed). When Googling and surfing the internet for this apparition, two sentences have been removed from the original message. It has not been reprinted in its’ entirety since 1988.

“Come my children; fear not, I am here to PROCLAIM GREAET NEWS TO YOU.”
“If my people do not wish to submit themselves, I am forced to let go of the hand of my Son. It is so heavy and weighs me down so much I can no longer keep hold of it.

I have suffered all the time for the rest of you! If I do not wish my Son to abandon you, I must take it upon myself to pray for this continually. And the rest of you think little of this. In vain you will pray, in vain you will act, you will never be able to make up for the troubles I have taken over the rest of you.

I gave you six days to work, I kept the seventh for myself, and no one wishes to grant it to me. This is what weighs down the arm of my Son so much.

Those who drive carts cannot speak without putting the name of my Son in the middle.

These are the two things which weigh down the arm of my Son so much. If the harvest is spoiled, it is only because of the rest of you. I made you see this last year with the potatoes, you took little account of this. It was quite the opposite when you found bad potatoes, you swore oaths, and you included the name of my Son. They will continue to go bad, at Christmas there will be none left.”

“You do not understand, my children. I will tell it to you another way.

If the harvest is spoiled, it does not seem to affect you. I made you see this last year with the potatoes. You took little account of this. It was quite the opposite when you found bad potatoes, you swore oaths, and you included the name of my Son. They will continue to go bad and at Christmas, there will be none left.

If you have corn, you must not sow it. The beasts will eat all that you sow. And all that grows will fall to dust when you thresh it. A great famine will come. Before the famine comes, children under the age of seven will begin to tremble and will die in the arms of those who hold them. The others will do penance through hunger. The nuts will go bad, the grapes will become rotten.”

“Melanie, what I am about to tell you now will not always be a secret. You may make it public in 1858.

The priests, ministers of my Son, the priests, by their wicked lives, by their irreverence and their impiety in the celebration of the holy mysteries, by their love of money, their love of honours and pleasures, the priests have become cesspools of impurity. Yes, the priests are asking vengeance, and vengeance is hanging over their heads. Woe to the priests and to those dedicated to God who by their unfaithfulness and their wicked lives are crucifying my Son again! The sins of those dedicated to God cry out towards Heaven and call for vengeance, and now vengeance is at their door, for there is no one left to beg mercy and forgiveness for the people. There are no more generous souls, there is no one left worthy of offering a stainless sacrifice to the Eternal for the sake of the world.

God will strike in an unprecedented way.

Woe to the inhabitants of the earth! God will exhaust His wrath upon them, and no one will be able to escape so many afflictions together.

The chiefs, the leaders of the people of God have neglected prayer and penance, and the devil has bedimmed their intelligence. They have become wandering stars which the old devil will drag along with his tail to make them perish. God will allow the old serpent to cause divisions among those who reign in every society and in every family. Physical and moral agonies will be suffered. God will abandon mankind to itself and will send punishments which will follow one after the other for more than thirty five years.

The Society of men is on the eve of the most terrible scourges and of gravest events. Mankind must expect to be ruled with an iron rod and to drink from the chalice of the wrath of God.

May the curate of my Son, Pope Pius IX never leave Rome again after 1859; may he, however, be steadfast and noble, may he fight with the weapons of faith and love. I will be at his side. May he be on his guard against Napoleon: he is two-faced, and when he wishes to make himself Pope as well as Emperor, God will soon draw back from him. He is the master-mind who, always wanting to ascend further, will fall on the sword he wished to use to force his people to be raised up.

Italy will be punished for her ambition in wanting to shake off the yoke of the Lord of Lords. And so she will be left to fight a war; blood will flow on all sides. Churches will be locked up or desecrated. Priests and religious orders will be hunted down, and made to die a cruel death. Several will abandon the faith, and a great number of priests and members of religious orders will break away from the true religion; among these people there will even be bishops.

May the Pope guard against the performers of miracles. For the time has come when the most astonishing wonders will take place on the earth and the air.

In the year 1864, Lucifer together with a large number of demons will be unloosed from hell; they will put an end to faith little by little, even in those dedicated to God. They will blind them in such a way, that, unless they are blessed with a special grace, these people will take on the spirit of these angels of hell; several religious institutions will lose all faith and will lose many souls.

Evil books will be abundant on earth and the spirits of darkness will spread everywhere a universal slackening in all that concerns the service of God. They will have great power over Nature: there will be churches built to serve these spirits. People will be transported from one place to another by these evil spirits; even priests, for they will not have been guided by the good spirit of the Gospel which is a spirit of humility, charity, and zeal for the glory of God. On occasions, the dead and the righteous will be brought back to life.”

“Everywhere the extraordinary wonders, as true faith has faded and false light brightens the people. Woe to the Princes of the Church who think only of piling riches upon riches to protect their authority and dominate with pride.

The Vicar of my Son will suffer a great deal because for a while the Church will yield to large persecution, a time of darkness and the Church will witness a frightful crisis.

The true faith to the Lord having been forgotten, each individual will want to be on his own and be superior to people of same identity, they will abolish civil rights as well as ecclesiastical, all order and all justice would be trampled underfoot and only homicides, hate, jealousy, lies and dissension would be seen without love for country or family.

The Holy Father will suffer a great deal. I will be with him until the end and receive his sacrifice.

The mischievous would attempt his life several times to do harm and shorten his days but neither him nor his successor will see the triumph of the Church of God.

All the civil governments will have one and the same plan, which will be to abolish and do away with every religious principal, to make way for materialism, atheism, spiritualism and vice of all kinds.

In the year 1865, there will be desecration of holy places. In convents, the flowers of the Church will decompose and the devil will make himself like the King of all hearts. May those in charge of religious communities be on their guard against the people they must receive, for the devil will resort to all his evil tricks to introduce sinners into religious orders, for disorder and the love of carnal pleasures will spread all over the earth.

France, Italy, Spain and England will be at war. Blood will flow in the streets. Frenchman will fight Frenchman. Italian will fight Italian. A general war will follow which will be appalling. For a time, God will cease to remember France and Italy because the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been forgotten. The wicked will make use of all their evil ways. Men will kill each other, massacre each other even in their homes.

At the first blow of His thundering sword, the mountains and all Nature will tremble in terror, for the disorders and crimes of men have pierced the vault of heavens. Paris will burn and Marseille will be engulfed. Several cities will be shaken down and swallowed up by earthquakes. People will believe that all is lost. Nothing will be seen but murder, nothing will be heard but the clash of arms and blasphemy.

The righteous will suffer greatly. Their prayers, their penances and their tears will rise up to Heaven and all of God’s people will beg for forgiveness and mercy and will plead for my help and intercession. And then Jesus Christ, in an act of His justice and His mercy will command His Angels to have all His enemies put to death. Suddenly, the persecutors of the Church of Jesus Christ and all those given over to sin will perish and the earth will become desert-like. And then peace will be made, and man will be reconciled with God. Jesus Christ will be served, worshipped and glorified. Charity will flourish everywhere. The new kings will be the right arm of the holy Church, which will be strong, humble pious in It’s poor but fervent imitation of the virtues of Jesus Christ. The Gospel will be preached everywhere and mankind will make great progress in it’s faith, for there will be unity among the workers of Jesus Christ and man will live in fear of God.

This peace among men will be short-lived. Twenty five years of plentiful harvests will make them forget that the sins of men are the cause of all the troubles on this earth.

A forerunner of the Antichrist, with his troops gathered from several nations, will fight against the true Christ, the only Saviour of the world. He will shed much blood and will want to annihilate the worship of God to make himself be looked upon as a God.

The earth will be struck by calamities of all kinds (in addition to plague and famine which will be wide-spread). There will be a series of wars until the last war, which will then be fought by the ten Kings of the Antichrist, all of whom will have one and the same plan and will be the only rulers of the world. Before this comes to pass, there will be a kind of false peace in the world. People will think of nothing but amusement. The wicked will give themselves over to all kinds of sin. But the children of the holy Church, the children of my faith, my true followers, they will grow in their love for God and in all the virtues most precious to me. Blessed are the souls humbly guided by the Holy Spirit! I shall fight at their side until they reach a fullness of years.

Nature is asking for vengeance because of man, and she trembles with dread at what must happen to the earth stained with crime. Tremble, earth, and you who proclaim yourselves as serving Jesus Christ and who, on the inside, only adore yourselves, tremble for God will hand you over to His enemy, because the holy places are in a state of corruption. Many convents are no longer houses of God, but the grazing-grounds of Asmodeas and his like. It will be during this time that the Antichrist will be born of a Hebrew nun, a false virgin who will communicate with the old serpent, the master of impurity, his father will be B. At birth, he will spew out blasphemy; he will have teeth, in a word, he will be the devil incarnate. He will scream horribly, he will perform wonders, he will feed on nothing but impurity. He will have brothers who, although not devils incarnate like him, will be children of evil. At the age of twelve, they will draw attention upon themselves by the gallant victories they will have won; soon they will each lead armies, aided by the legions of hell.

The seasons will be altered, the earth will produce nothing but bad fruit, the stars will lose their regular motion, the moon will only reflect a faint reddish glow. Water and fire will give the earth’s globe convulsions and terrible earthquakes which will swallow up mountains, cities, etc….

Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of the Antichrist.

The demons of the air together with the Antichrist will perform great wonders on earth and in the atmosphere, and men will become more and more perverted. God will take care of his faithful servants and men of good will. The Gospel will be preached everywhere, and all peoples of all nations will get to know the truth.

I make an urgent appeal to the earth. I call on the true disciples of the living God who reigns in Heaven; I call on the true followers of Christ made man, the only true Saviour of men; I call on my children, the true faithful, those who have given themselves to me so that I may lead them to my divine Son, those whom I carry in my arms, so to speak, those who have lived on my spirit. Finally, I call on the Apostles of the Last Days, the faithful disciples of Jesus Christ who have lived in scorn for the world and for themselves, in poverty and in humility, in scorn and in silence, in prayer and in mortification, in chastity and in union with God, in suffering and unknown to the world. It is time they came out and filled the world with light. Go and reveal yourselves to be my cherished children. I am at your side and within you, provided that your faith is the light which shines upon you in these unhappy days. May your zeal make you famished for the glory and the honour of Jesus Christ. Fight, children of the light, you, the few who can see. For now is the time of all times, the end of all ends.

The Church will be in eclipse, the world will be in dismay. But now Enoch and Eli will come, filled with the Spirit of God. They will preach with the might of God, and men of good will will believe in God, and many souls will be comforted. They will make great steps forward through the virtue of the Holy Spirit and will condemn the devilish lapses of the Antichrist. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth! There will be bloody wars and famines, plagues and infectious diseases. It will rain with a fearful hail of animals. There will be thunderstorms which will shake cities, earthquakes which will swallow up countries. Voices will be heard in the air. Men will beat their heads against walls, call for their death, and on another side death will be their torment. Blood will flow on all sides. Who will be the victor if God does not shorten the length of the test? All the blood, the tears and the prayers of the righteous, God will relent. Enoch and Eli will be put to death. Pagan Rome will disappear. The fire of Heaven will fall and consume three cities. All the universe will be struck with terror and many will let themselves be led astray because they have not worshipped the true Christ who lives among them. It is time; the sun is darkening; only faith will survive.

Now is the time; the abyss is opening. Here is the King of Kings of darkness, here is the Beast with his subjects, calling himself the Saviour of the world. He will rise proudly into the air to go to Heaven. He will be smothered by the breath of the Archangel Saint Michael. He will fall, and the earth, which will have been in a continuous series of evolutions for three days, will open up its fiery bowels; and he will have plunged for eternity with all his followers into the everlasting chasms of hell. And then water and fire will purge the earth and consume all the works of men’s pride and all will be renewed. God will be served and glorified.”

“If they convert, the stones and rocks will change into wheat, and potatoes will be found sown in the earth. Do you say your prayers properly, my children?”

“Oh! My children, you must say them morning and evening. When you can do no more, say a Pater and an Ave Maria; and when you have the time to do better, you will say more.

Only a few old women to Mass; in the summer, the rest work all day Sunday and in the winter, when they are at a loose end, they only go to mass to make fun of religion. During Lent, they go the the butcher’s like hungry dogs.

Have you ever seen any spoilt wheat, my children?”

“But you, my child, you must have seen some once near le “Coin”, with your father. The farmer said to your father: “Come and see how my wheat’s gone bad!” You went to see. Your father took two or three ears in his hand, rubbed them, and they fell to dust. Then, on your way back, when you were no more than half an hour away from Corps, your father gave you a piece of bread, and said, “Take it, eat it while you can, my son, for I don’t know who will be eating anything next year if the wheat is spoiled like that!”

“AND SO, MY CHILDREN, YOU WILL PASS THIS ON TO ALL MY PEOPLE.”

“AND SO, MY CHILDREN, YOU WILL PASS THIS ON TO ALL MY PEOPLE.”

Feast of the Epiphany Tuesday Jan. 6, 2009

Well, tomorrow we prepare for the feast of the Epiphany. Here, we go ice skating with the school and then a pizza party and epiphany gifts for all the school children.

At home Steve leads in the door blessings. On the Feast of the Epiphany itself, the priest, wearing white vestments, will bless the Epiphany Water, frankincense, gold, and chalk. Chalk is used to write the initials of the three magi over the doors of churches and homes. Not only do the letters stand for the initials of the Magi (traditionally named Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar), but of the phrase Christus mansionem benedicat, which translates as "may Christ bless the house".

20+C+M+B+09 Will go above all our doors in the house, written with blessed chalk.

Christmas Birthday's

I would like to extend a big birthday hello to my neices Becky and Donna and my cousin Annie. All within the week of Christmas, and always seem to get missed with birthday cards! Thankfully we don't have any December birthdays in this house. I can't imagine!

Happy Birthday Gals!

Shocked Anne

I'm having a hard time imagining your town having crime problems, its such a nice little town with darling homes. So far, we haven't had any problems in our little neck of the woods but I know by the church its gotten really bad. My friend Christine was telling us her area had a bunch of houses forcloused and they have turned the homes into very low cost hud style houses and the crime has jumped so bad she doesn't shop in the evenings anymore. Her husband is a police officer for the area so I guess he would know first hand. I know by the church the surrounding area's have all had recent crime problems, infact about a year ago someone went into the little acorn shop, which is like a little hallmark store and robbed and tried to kill the owner. She ended up with multiple stab wounds and this is just a little town shop. Thankfully she recovered.

Stop The Madness!

Anne here..A while back, while we were all watching the economy tank, I had a few thoughts, one of which has come to fruition. What is one of the results of people being out of work? Desperation for sure! People get low on funds, so why not just go steal something, or rob someone. Home invasions in our nice little town of Colorado Springs, who's reputation is that we are a Christian town thanks to James Dobson, have skyrocketed. Every day I check the news, and the weather and in the last few weeks, it seems that not a day has gone by where someone else got robbed, their home broken into, and thankfully, so far, no one has been killed. Well, ok, there was that one guy who was so drunk that he got the wrong house, tried to get in, and the people living there shot him because they thought he was breaking in. That was just a tragic mistake. Alcohol killed him. May he rest in peace.

But, I have hope. With the tax increase not passing on the last round of voting, the police are having to lay off or seriously limit the police force. What ever shall we do? Well, if we are like Italy, and I am sure it's a matter of time, the National Guard will be called up to help. Here comes the government ready to save us again! Whew! What would we do without them?
(Italy had the same problem. Not enough police, and too many riots, etc. The government was called in to lend a hand)

Keep thinking, and praying. Things should get really interesting in the next year. I figure we have until winter of 2009 before it gets really bad. And, keep your doors locked. Even during the day, as many of these home invasions happened in the light of day.

Happy New Year to all!

Feast of the Circumcision/Jan. 1st

As usual, a day late, dollar short...isn't that how the saying goes. Well today (actually yesterday since its after midnight, but I still see it as the 1st!) was the feast of the Circumcision of Our Lord and the day he was given his most holy name, JESUS!
http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Catholic_Encyclopedia_(1913)/Feast_of_the_Circumcision We had a beautiful day, starting with Mass, Joey served, and Katie sang...I'm not sure why Carolyn and Jaclyn didn't today. Anyhow it is so empowering to begin the new year in Mass with Jesus. I felt very inspired to think about what I would like this New Year to bring, to take the time to thank God for the blessings the old year brought and to contemplate what this day shows, that the Holy Family showed obedience to the customs and laws of their Jewish religion. Reminds me, that many times, we do things out of obedience and although sometimes we don't want to do these things God gives us the grace we need. I always think hearing Fr. Radecki teaching the children their holy days, I can hear Father saying to the small children in my head, "January 1st The Circumcision, Jesus get's his name"

Happy New Year 2009!

What 2009? Can you believe it? How is it possible? Hmmm, oh, well..it is! Well, we had a nice New Years. Our annual game night. Me and the kids played Star War's monopoly while Steve and the older girls played chess. We had berry juice with a shot of 7-up to give it that sparkling effect. I had forgotten the sparkling grape juice but I think the kids liked this better. Anyway, we were busy playing and forgot to watch for midnight so we had our toast about five minutes after, atleast now I know my kitchen clock is slow. haha!

I have a few New Year's resolutions this year.
First is to live in the day, to be satisfied with my blessings and to inspire to always do better, but not waste my time, and enjoy also what I have and be content.

Second, to keep my laundry up.

Third to do quality activities with the children and spend more time with them doing more than just trying to keep the house managed.

Fourth to do more spiritual reading and more mental prayer while keeping up with vocal prayer.

Well below is our Happy New Year toast to You! God Bless, my blog buddies, thank you for keeping up with us, caring and taking your time to visit us here.

Playtime!

Playtime around the house, Rosa is very enthused with these little creatures hanging in front of her face, but still needs to take that time with Daddy. Maddie loves her new tu-tu.
