Well, one of the busiest times of year is flying by. I can't believe its already the third week in Advent. Kids love this week because this is the week of the rose candle on our advent wreath. We also begin decorating this week. The third week is a week of joy because we know that the birth of Jesus is coming soon. So we put up the tree on Sunday. It looks nice. Surprisingly Mikey wanted to watch us put the ornaments on and didn't really want to do it himself. He hasn't even touched the tree once! Now that's unusal. Evelyn put a letter on the tree to thank Santa in advance for the presents he will bring. haha!
I think I'm down to just one more shopping day to go and going to try to get it done tomorrow. I was able to mail out most the cards today. The house is mostly decorated and it looks nice. We put the stockings in the dining room this year because we have been using our fireplace.
The church looks beautiful, most of the decorating is done. Our Christmas program is Monday night. And on Sunday we are going caroling to a few retirement homes. Then Tuesday night weather premitting we are going caroling with some friends.
The kids are all very excited and doing well. Rosa is starting to coo and smile a lot at us. Well, off to get a few more things done. Thats the hardest thing for me is getting the stuff done, that you can't do when all the kids are around.
